Faith in your Network, has it gone?

Are working relationships becoming more about the here and now?

In my experience, I have noticed a decline in long term loyalty when it comes to relationships in business.

Why are we so scared to invest in a relationship that has been good to us for so long?

Why is there a need to update our business network as frequently as performing updates on our smart phone? Is it because we are scared that we are no longer travelling in the “progressive” or “innovative” group?

Are we only looking for a stepping stone in order to get to a particular destination faster? Or are we looking for a person or persons who will compliment what we do, how we do it and who we are?

I have spent a long time building a network of friends. I use the term friends because I do not see them as a tool to grow but more as an extension of myself. A reflection. You are your friends, as they say.
